I graduated from Florida Southern College in 2017 with a Bachelors of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and a GPA of 3.9. Additionally, I am an International Baccalaureate (IB) alumni that graduated from John A. Ferguson High School, Miami Fl.
Experience
At Florida Southern College, I use to tutor students in Organic Chemistry for a year. I enjoy helping students better understand material so that they succeed in their passion. I have taken a variety of different biology and chemistry courses throughout my degree. Some examples include genetics, general biology and chemistry, analytical chemistry, cell biology, microbiology, and biochemistry. Additionally, my experience in IB allows me to understand what is needed to graduate in this rigorous program. I have taken and passed IB History HL, IB Language A: Language and Literature HL (English), IB Mathematics SL, IB Film HL, and IB BIology SL. I am also able to apply this knowledge in math and science to my career goals. I have years of lab experience through summer internships and am currently employed as a Research Technician.
